I am a 32 year old mother of 4 living with my husband in a small suburb of Memphis, Tennessee. I believe that if we don’t start changing the way we live, we won’t have a place for our children’s children to grow up. I want to make a difference in the lives of the people in my community and country, and I believe I can do that one home at a time.
All we have to do is make small changes in the things that we do on a regular basis. You don’t have to go as extreme as I have and try to cut plastic completely out of your life, but think of the change that you could make if you stopped using plastic shopping bags and started using resuable ones. What about getting rid of the paper napkins and paper towels in your house. Think of the landfill space that you would save and the trees that you would be saving.
I am a firm believer that everyone is a difference maker. You can change the world starting in your own home.
